Branka Pavlovic

 

Geboren und aufgewachsen in Belgrad, Serbien (Jugoslawien).

Abschluss BA in Film&TV Editing, an der Akademie für Film, Fernsehen, Theater und Radio, FDU, Belgrad,

Serbien und MA Kunst im Kontext, UdK, Berlin. Von 2000-2006 Cutterin für den freien Sender RTV B92

aus Belgrad, Arbeit an Projekten (Dokumentarfilme), die sich mit den Folgen des Krieges und Kriegsverbrechen in Ex-Jugoslawien kritisch auseinandergesetzt haben.

Seit 2006 freiberuflich als Cutterin und Videokunstlerin in Berlin und Belgrad tätig.

Seit 2007 arbeitet als Cutterin und Kamerafrau mit der Performancekünstlerin Nezaket Ekici. Diverse Theaterprojekten mit der freien Theatertruppe spreeagenten Berlin, deren Mitglied sie mittlerweile ist.

Programmdirektorin und künstlerische Leitung des Slobodna Zona/FREE ZONE Belgrade Human Rights Film Festivals in Belgrad, Serbien.

Videoarbeiten fur die Produktion „Post Porn Poetry” am Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, spreeagenten Berlin (2008-2012) und die Freie Theatertruppe She She Pop (2012).

Seit August 2014 arbeitet Branka Pavlovic an der Freien Universität Berlin als Mitarbeiterin an dem Projekt LEON (Learning Environments Online) und im AV Team des Centre für Digitale Systeme (CeDiS), Berlin.

2013-2015 Kunstvermittlungsstipendiatin der nGbK, Berlin mit dem Kunstvermittlungs-Projekt DEMOAUFNAHME(N).

Januar-Juni 2016 Kuratorin der Filmreihe zum Thema Flucht und Migration im Bi'bak Projektraum in Wedding, Berlin.

Branka Pavlovic

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia (Yugoslavia).

BA in Film & TV Editing, at the Academy for Film, Television, Theater and Radio, FDU, Belgrade, Serbia and MA Art in Context, UdK, Berlin.

From 2000-2006 editor for the independent broadcaster RTV B92 from Belgrade, working on projects (documentaries) that have critically examined the consequences of the war and war crimes in ex-Yugoslavia.

Since 2006 she has been working as a freelance editor and video artist in Berlin and Belgrade.

Since 2007 has been working as editor and camerawoman with  the performance artist Nezaket Ekici.

Various theater productions with the independent theater company spreeagenten Berlin.

Program director and artistic director of the Slobodna Zona / FREE ZONE Belgrade Human Rights Film Festival in Belgrade, Serbia.
